We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Community Health Network. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing professional clinical nutrition patient care functions for patients on assigned units.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective communication within the department and with other healthcare team members to provide quality nutritional care.
- Provide nutrition education for the department, facility, and community.
- Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to implement nutrition care plans and plan therapeutic diets in accordance with physicians' diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registered Dietitian Certification (CDR) required.
- License as a Registered Dietitian in Indiana (LD) required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform basic computer functions.
- Ability to use knowledge of or gain knowledge of best practices, processes, laws, regulations, tools, and software within the subject matter area of this position.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- High level of expertise in the understanding of nutrition principles, theories, and processes.
- Organizational skills in problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and supervision (in-direct).
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
