The Production Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with our standards and regulations. This role requires a passion for food and service, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with menu development and implementation.
- Lead by example and demonstrate personal accountability for performance.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Set production standards and assist in stabilizing standard recipes.
- Manage food storage areas and assist with ordering.
- Adhere to unit standards of dress and attend scheduled meetings.
- Display service excellence and promote resident satisfaction.
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to speak in sentences.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a culinary position.
- 2-year culinary arts degree.
- Experience in a professional kitchen, cooking from scratch.
- Serve safe certified.
