Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose conditions affecting the eye and adnexa
  • Treat patients with therapeutic drugs and monitor the maintenance of ophthalmic equipment and instruments
  • Provide advice and training to optometry service staff

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Current license to practice optometry in a State, District of Columbia, or a territory
  • Successful completion of a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) accredited by the Council on Optometric Education
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Training and certification sponsored or endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA)
