Resiliency LLC is seeking an experienced Master Die Repair Technician to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies in accordance with original specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with machines and equipment associated with this process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive instructions and information from Team Leaders and/or Supervisors.
  • Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble casting and trim dies using lift trucks, die cleaning equipment, and cranes as necessary.
  • Build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints using required tools or equipment.
  • Draw, polish, or grind die cavity surfaces using required tools or equipment.
  • Makes repairs, removes stuck castings, corrects dimensional problems, changes cores and trim punches while casting and trim dies are mounted on machines.
  • Performs welding duties in the foundry and the Die Repair Department.
  • Troubleshoots all production tooling problems, performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Completes forms, die work orders, pictorials, signoffs, and records as directed.
  • Keeps work area, equipment, and department neat and orderly.
  • Trains new employees.
  • Perform other duties incidental to the safe and efficient operation of the tool and die repair department as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience specific to this position, with up to 2 years of training required if the employee does not meet the minimum experience requirement.
  • A strong understanding of tool and die repair principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
