Typical Work Schedule:

1st Shift, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair site robotics, conveyors, and wrappers.
  • Implement and execute basic functional testing procedures for equipment.
  • Identify issues by observing and monitoring the automation field; diagnose and perform repairs.
  • Oversee and document processes to guarantee that preventative maintenance tasks are completed accurately and punctually.
  • Safely maintain, inspect, and repair machinery, equipment, and warehouse facilities.
  • Evaluate work performance, compare results to objectives, and take corrective actions; accurately maintain and generate necessary reports.
  • Foster and promote exceptional customer service.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety protocols to ensure team compliance.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • 2 years of maintenance experience with electrical, electronic, pneumatic, robotics, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with computerized scanning equipment, along with the ability to read basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule as required, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
  • Familiarity with combustible dust and intrinsically safe electrical standards.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and plastering; familiarity with plumbing, electrical work, and vehicle servicing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Tolerance for varying warehouse temperatures.
