We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Utilization Review Specialist to join our team at ICONMA LLC. This role requires a registered nurse with current unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license and two to four years of clinical experience in acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, and utilization review.
The successful candidate will conduct reviews of inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary services to ensure medical necessity, appropriate length of stay, intensity of service, and level of care. They will also establish care plans and coordinate care through the healthcare continuum, including member outreach assessments.
A Bachelor's degree in nursing, allied health, business, or related field is preferred. Certification in Case Management may be beneficial based on designated department assignment.
