General Pediatric Epileptologist Position Available

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This role is situated within a comprehensive healthcare system that encompasses over 1,500 physicians and 450 advanced practice providers across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse patient population, focusing on Pediatric Epilepsy and general neurology cases.
- Collaborate closely with a renowned Pediatric Brain and Spine Neurosurgeon.
- Participate in the pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) and assist in surgical evaluations.
- Engage in hospitalist duties at the Children’s Hospital, contributing to a large pediatric multispecialty system.
- Rotate coverage for inpatient services, including the pediatric floor, PICU, NICU, and emergency department.
- Lead the ambulatory pediatric EEG lab, overseeing approximately 850 outpatient EEGs annually.
- Provide continuous EEG readings and participate in the interpretation of hospital studies.
Patient Care: The physician will work with a patient demographic that includes complex and refractory epilepsy cases, as well as general neurology patients. The role involves a collaborative approach with a full-time pediatric neuropsychologist and a pediatric dietitian specializing in ketogenic diets.
Technology and Resources: Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art Cadwell hardware and software systems, upgraded in 2020, ensuring high-quality patient care and monitoring.
