Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to our patients. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for oral health care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient medical and dental histories, as well as current treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
