This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Biofuels Expert at ICF, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the renewable energy landscape. Your primary responsibilities will include serving as a subject matter expert in biochemical processes, providing valuable insights into cutting-edge advancements and industry best practices.

You will also be responsible for managing projects, evaluating designs of biofuel, renewable chemical, and hydrogen production systems, and ensuring their capability to meet product specifications within project financial parameters.

Additionally, you will lead scoping and feasibility studies, author design basis, equipment lists, layout drawings, and deliver other essential services in FEL-1 and FEL-2 packages.

Your expertise in cost analysis, due diligence, and reporting will be highly valued, as you draft technology sections for due diligence reports used in project financing, showcasing your technical expertise.

You may also be required to travel to project sites to oversee pilot or demonstration facilities, monitor construction progress, and conduct performance tests for emerging commercial facilities.

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/mechanical engineering or a related field with a focus on renewable and conventional fuels.
• Experience with the design and construction of biofuel/biochemical projects.
• 12+ years of experience in a technical role.
• Experience managing projects and a fundamental understanding of cost, scope, and schedule management with clients.
• Proficiency in process design, product standards, equipment selection, and process energy efficiency methods.

We offer a competitive salary range of $112,513.00 - $191,273.00, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
