Position Overview:
Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and nurturing environment for our residents, providing emotional and social support while addressing their physical needs. You will deliver direct care as per the resident's care plan and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives. Adherence to health, sanitation, and infection control protocols is essential, as is maintaining the standards set by our administration and nursing policies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old (or 16 years old if currently enrolled in high school).
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift & Compensation:
