Job Summary

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality daily nursing care to our residents in a Long Term Care environment. As a key member of our care team, you will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic nursing care and assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
  • Observe residents for any changes in their condition and report changes promptly to the charge nurse.
  • Document care and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard precautions while delivering care and keep residents' areas clean and organized.
  • Participate in the care plan process and follow the resident's individual plan of care.
  • Respond to resident needs promptly and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers.
  • Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relationships.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in educational and in-service meetings to update knowledge of techniques, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Successfully complete Clinical Competencies for Certified Nursing Assistants.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care environment preferred.
  • C.N.A Certification.
  • Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines, read and communicate effectively, and utilize various software packages.
