Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Renal team at Northern Dutchess Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products safely and accurately, adhering to infection control standards.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Nursing diploma or graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current NYS RN License.
- 3 years Med Surg experience required, with Critical Care experience preferred.
This is a per diem position, with a standard schedule of 0.01 FTE. The work schedule is Day 8, with a work shift of Org Unit: 1942. The department is Inpatient Renal, and the salary range is $ Hourly.
