Job OpportunityAbout the Role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities will include providing therapy sessions, communicating patient progress to supervisors and team members, and documenting patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

You will also have the opportunity to instruct patient families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.

Additionally, you will make presentations to support marketing efforts and handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable state/federal laws.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program and meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.

You will also need to have a minimum of six months of experience working with an adult and geriatric population, a current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered, and current CPR certification.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
