Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Arnett Hospital. This is a full-time, night shift position with a rotating schedule that includes 3p-3a shifts and 6p-6a shifts every 4th weekend.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a radiology diagnostic technologist and be certified in Basic Life Support. They will also have active status as a Registered Technologist (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly to record diagnostic images.
  • Display leadership characteristics by volunteering for improvement initiatives, seeking new ways to improve team collaboration, and acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Act as an onboarding/orientation preceptor, serve as a clinical instructor for students, provide and lead annual CE opportunities for team members, and act as the operations leader during the absence of a team lead/supervisor.
Requirements
  • Active status as a Registered Technologist (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a radiology diagnostic technologist.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
