We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Cafeteria and Playground Supervisor for West Ada School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supervised environment for students in the cafeteria and on the playground during lunch periods.

The primary function of this role is to maintain order and discipline among students, enforce school rules, and administer disciplinary actions as necessary. This includes redirecting unwanted behaviors, providing conflict resolution, and ensuring student safety at all times.

• Provide supervision and guidance to students in the cafeteria and playground
• Enforce school rules and policies to ensure student safety and well-being
• Administer disciplinary actions as needed, in accordance with district policies
• Redirect unwanted behaviors and provide conflict resolution
• Check sports and recreational equipment in and out
• Ensure students return to class in a timely manner
• Report hazardous conditions or serious disciplinary problems to a supervisor or building principal

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

The successful candidate will be required to work in a school cafeteria and outdoor playground environment, with exposure to inclement weather. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this role.

Yearly evaluation by supervisor. Estimated salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Employment is 'at will,' meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship with or without cause and with or without notice at any time.
