Job Summary:

Necco is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Foster Care team, you will be responsible for providing oversight, supervision, and support to Case Managers. This role will also involve maintaining a client caseload and performing the duties outlined in the corresponding program job description.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the case coordination of program services under the supervision of the Program Director or designated treatment staff
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) for clients
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to develop and plan treatment program matters, including visitation, health, education, safety, and permanency goals
  • Participate in monthly case consultation with Case Managers to review the status of each service recipient
  • Transfer caseloads to newly hired Case Managers and provide mentorship and support during the transitional period
  • Maintain an abbreviated caseload and comply with the duties required under the Case Manager job description

Leadership and Staff Development:

  • Supervise the thorough completion of intakes and all necessary assessments
  • Complete individual performance scorecards and provide clear expectations to those supervised
  • Assign mentors to those supervised

Quality Assurance:

  • Assist and recommend client support services to Case Managers
  • Assist the Program and Treatment Directors in ongoing review of cases to ensure that client records meet quality standards
  • Ensure therapeutic services are provided as needed through coordination with the Treatment Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services discipline (West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Georgia)
  • Master's degree with one year of paid experience or DCS approval through waiver (Indiana)
  • Three years of experience working with children, individuals, and/or families with emotional or behavioral disabilities
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Valid driver's license and 100/300/100 auto insurance
