We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Specialist to enhance our Operations Department.
Position Overview:
The Telecommunications Specialist is essential in managing all incoming, outgoing, and internal communications. This role involves monitoring phone system alarms and ensuring effective communication with both guests and team members. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle external and internal calls, directing them to the correct recipients
- Facilitate clear communication throughout the hotel and condominium
- Provide administrative assistance, including photocopying and data entry tasks
- Maintain an organized and functional switchboard area
- Assist guests with inquiries and requests via the virtual concierge platform
- Develop and update the department's call directory
- Deliver outstanding customer service to hotel guests
- Stay informed about all training materials and operational procedures
- At least 1 year of experience in a PBX Operator or similar capacity
- Experience in the Condo/Hotel sector is preferred
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
- Ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues
- Capability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 10 lbs
- Capability to sit, stand, and wait for varying durations
- Primarily office-based with moderate noise levels
- Exposure to various weather conditions may occur
