Role Expectations:
As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all labor, materials, and installation schedules in collaboration with clients. This position involves managing the complete employee lifecycle to recruit and maintain the necessary staffing to meet project timelines.
To ensure an outstanding customer experience, you will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching the workforce through constructive feedback and ongoing technical training to enhance performance.
Your daily responsibilities will include:1. Supervising, scheduling, and managing installation teams
2. Ensuring adherence to OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
3. Promoting effective communication and teamwork by visiting job sites and collaborating with crews to resolve any issues
4. Maintaining equipment and company vehicles
5. Conducting quality control checks
6. Overseeing recruitment, training, discipline, and termination of installers
7. Managing warehouse operations to ensure daily tasks are completed
8. Controlling inventory
9. Ensuring all installers complete required paperwork
10. Building relationships with clients and meeting with them regularly
11. Managing conflict resolution with clients
12. Upholding and enforcing all established policies and procedures
13. Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills
14. Being proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
15. Paying attention to detail
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Compensation:
$25 - $30 per hour
This position requires successful completion of a drug test, contingent upon employment, and a background check if applicable.
Qualifications for Success:
1. Proven experience in Construction or Project Management
2. Hands-on experience in residential construction, with knowledge of insulation
3. Valid driver's license and clean driving record for operating company vehicles
4. Familiarity with insulation materials and spray foam equipment
5. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
6. Capability to adhere to processes and safety regulations
7. Forklift experience is preferred
8. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Safety Requirements:
1. Ability to bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
2. Capability to check work in tight, dark spaces, crawl spaces, and attics
3. Ability to ascend ladders or scaffolds as necessary
4. Competence in driving trucks and box trucks, and lifting light to moderate weights
