Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Pulmonary Progressive Care team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care, working closely with our registered nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist patients with mobility, including regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating.
  • Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
  • Assist with the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests, ensuring accuracy of all labels and timely transfer of specimen.
  • Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
Requirements
  • Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • BLS certification
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
