Prepare necessary documentation, including dock receipts, bills of lading, and export declarations.
File Shippers Export Declarations (SED's) and track cargo to ensure accurate movement and delivery.
Provide the accounting department with accurate billing information.
Engage with clients regarding freight disposition, including tracking, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers concerning shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
Collaborate with other company branches and agents to ensure client satisfaction and exceptional service execution.
Identify the most cost-effective shipping methods while meeting client requirements for freight movement.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Other Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of the import/export industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with clients and internal teams.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
Must be career-oriented, diligent, a quick learner, and possess excellent recall for past events, situations, and numbers.
Proficient knowledge of personal computers is required.

Physical Requirements
This position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing, and walking.
Some light lifting may be necessary in certain instances.

Education & Experience
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A minimum of 4 years of related experience is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of industry experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
