- Medical Record Keeping: Accurately record patient medical history, medications, allergies, and vital statistics in medical records.
- Medication Administration: Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians, following safety protocols.
- Treatment Explanation: Clearly explain treatment procedures, medications, and wound care instructions to patients.
- Assisting Physicians: Assist physicians with exams and treatments, handing them instruments and materials as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring the room is stocked and ready for use.
- Adhering to Policies: Adhere to all policies and procedures, supporting a culture of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
- Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent, Certified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and CPR certification.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of sterile technique, anatomy, and medications, detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable, and basic to intermediate computer operation.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in dermatology, with a high level of emotional and professional maturity, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and trust.
