Kids Instructor

Job Summary:

The Kids Instructor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, educational and fitness-focused programming to children at Life Time. This position involves organizing and leading engaging activities, games, and events that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children aged three months to 11 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for members and guests.
• Implement and instruct organized activities in accordance with the Kids Academy Schedule, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
• Prepare and set up for classes, transfer children to and from programming, and maintain accurate records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Ensure the maintenance of a clean and organized Kids Academy and other program areas by adhering to the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is not required; however, completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings is necessary before the first day of work.
• First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification are required within the first 60 days of employment.
• Prior experience in teaching children aged 3-11 in similar programs or activities is preferred.
