Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of diesel equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel equipment issues, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Document all repair orders and maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and other team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy duty diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
- CDL A and DOT certification preferred.
