$45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description

The Medical Assistant Professional supports Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses in an ambulatory care setting. Key responsibilities include maintaining organized patient flow, preparing patients for exams, and administering intramuscular injections under the direction of a Physician.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains organized patient flow to ensure efficient care delivery
  • Takes patient intake information, including vital signs and reason for visit
  • Prepares patients for exams based on reason for visit, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Supports providers with procedures, prepares patients, and ensures charts are available
  • Reviews appointment schedules, ensures charts are up-to-date, and provides timely updates to providers
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Clinical Medical Assistant Certification required upon hire
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in computer software
  • Preferred qualifications include one year of clinical experience, phlebotomy experience, and Epic Ambulatory experience
