As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, and other environmental structures and facilities.
Responsibilities- Provide structural engineering services to clients in the water and environmental engineering industry
- Design new structures and evaluate existing ones, including reinforced concrete, steel, and other materials
- Develop project proposals, scopes, and budgets, and generate specifications and technical reports
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process engineers, and other disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Lead structural design of facilities and small projects with multiple facilities
- Perform inspections, observations, and data collection at existing facility locations and construction sites
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 8-12 years of civil/structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineering license required
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with high degrees of autonomy and travel periodically to client sites
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Experience in the design of environmental engineering concrete structures
- Proficient in using structural software to model 3D structures and interpret results
