Kitchen Porter

Amaro's Table is a reputable dining establishment seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom, restaurant, bathrooms, kitchen, and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, running, and unloading the dish machine, ensuring it remains clean and functioning properly. You will also be responsible for monitoring the dish machine and sink water temperature to guarantee a sanitary wash cycle. Additionally, you will wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, label, replenish, and store chemicals, and maintain a clean and organized dishroom and storage area.

• Loading, running, and unloading the dish machine
• Maintaining the dish machine and sinks in a clean and functional state
• Monitoring water temperatures to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
• Washing and storing all tableware and kitchenware
• Properly labeling, replenishing, and storing chemicals
• Maintaining a clean and organized dishroom and storage area

This entry-level position offers an attractive salary of $35,000 per year, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry. • No previous restaurant experience required
• Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods
• Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
• Ability to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift
