Salary
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $23.22 to $45.43 per hour, based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and local labor markets.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining procedures to patients, moving equipment into position, and adjusting exposure factors to produce high-quality images. You will also practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff, perform routine maintenance on radiologic equipment, and diagnose malfunctions. Additionally, you will prepare images for reading by the radiologist or requesting physician.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma/GED, a license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New York, and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist, experience with Epic EMR software, and orthopedic expertise.
