Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of patient care services and ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
- Observe, assess, and report patient conditions/changes and document in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policy and State/Federal guidelines and regulations.
- Administer medication/treatments as prescribed and receive, transcribe, and execute physicians' orders.
- Evaluate and implement patient care plans, identify and secure equipment and supplies, and direct, monitor, and coordinate the timely delivery of quality patient care.
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained in accordance with Cantex's Disaster and OSHA Manual and all local, State, and Federal guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in the evaluation of subordinate staff and provide necessary counsel/discipline in accordance with Cantex Continuing Care Network Personnel Policies.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school and holds a current and valid license in the appropriate State.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in either a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language.
