Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, identifying their physical and psychosocial health status, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, share information, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Medication Administration and Education: Administer medications safely and effectively, and educate patients and families on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Patient Education and Support: Provide comprehensive education and support to patients and families, addressing their concerns, and promoting healthy behaviors and outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, and report any concerns or issues to supervisors.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing, required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in pediatrics, required.
- Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
- Certifications: BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
Salary Range: $52-$100/hour
