Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency and critical care to patients, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and wound care.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as anesthesia setup and monitoring, patient assessment, and laboratory processing.
- Administer medications, including fluid bolus and CRI, and calculate dosages accurately.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an emergency or urgent care setting.
- Ability to navigate high-paced workflows with a sense of urgency.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable asking for help and clarification when needed.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
