Job Title: Server

Reports to: Dining Manager/Executive Chef

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: As a Server at Provision Living Associates, LLC, you will provide prompt, courteous service to residents and guests in the dining room while supporting the team in optimizing each resident's well-being and overall experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take written orders from residents, prepare, and deliver meals, drinks, and desserts.
  • Provide services to assigned tables during meal periods.
  • Bus tables during and after service.
  • Participate in cleaning and resetting tables after each meal period, including changing tablecloths when necessary.
  • Perform tasks in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Assist residents with understanding menu items and food selection.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated customer and customer service skills.
  • Sound organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Possess an appreciation of seniors and an understanding of the aging process.
  • Basic mathematic skills.

Travel: Travel is not required.

Physical Demands: The employee will engage in activities such as sitting, standing, walking, using hands to handle and feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing. Occasional requirements for crouching and lifting items weighing up to 50lbs may exist.
