About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Bunge North America. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing a full range of HR services to support the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with facility management and HR manager to develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Support employee relations and maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Provide HR services including policy and procedure counsel, staffing and selection, performance management, benefits administration, and coaching and training.
  • Assist in administration of policies and procedures, current state, local, and federal regulations, and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure HR compliance activities are completed timely and accurately.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and maintain an awareness of workforce demographics and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze reports relating to turnover, headcount, and other HR metrics.
  • Resolves employee problems or issues related to employee relations matters.
  • Lead hourly employee recruiting from requisition through onboarding.
  • Participates in candidate selection process and conducts new employee orientation.
  • Maintains confidential employee data or files and prepares and/or analyzes routine reports related to such.
  • Assist with investigations related to policy violations, misconduct, or other circumstances that may result in disciplinary action.
  • Support HR centers of excellence at the facility level with annual development and workforce planning.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of related human resources experience, preferably in a Union environment.
  • Ability to maintain objectivity and discretion with confidential information.
  • Exceptional customer service and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, and AAP.
  • MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Familiarity with ADP, HR, and Payroll system a plus.
