Job Title: Pet Resort Groomer

At Happy Trails Pet Spa and Resort, we are seeking a skilled Pet Resort Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Resort Groomer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services to our clients, including dogs and cats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize grooming instruments, including shears and dryers, to provide exceptional grooming services.
  • Perform grooming services per client instructions for all breeds of dogs and cats.
  • Comfort and calm nervous pets to promote a positive experience.
  • Provide positive attitude towards all pets and their owners.
  • Direct customer service experience to establish a trusting bond with our clients and handle potentially difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and self-directedness to keep your workstation neat and tidy.
  • Skilled in other areas, including nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expressing.
  • Ability to receive feedback from clients.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, as necessary.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a professional groomer.
  • Groomer certification required.
  • References required.
  • Portfolio required.
  • Thursday-Saturday availability required.
  • Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
