Mechanic Job Description

Transdev is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and ensuring the safe operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of parts, including fuel injection systems
  • Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or ensure they are working properly
  • Use hand tools and power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches and lathes, to perform repairs
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Mechanic or equivalent experience
  • ASE certifications in relevant areas
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities
