About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide - Prep Cook to join our team at Cohesive Staffing Solutions. This is a PRN position, and as such, you will work on an as-needed basis to support our kitchen operations.

Job Summary
The Dietary Aide - Prep Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food for our patients, staff members, and guests. You will work closely with our dietary supervisor to ensure that all meals meet our high standards of taste, nutrition, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, maintain, and serve nutritious meals in accordance with predetermined recipes and patient dietary restrictions
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Collaborate with the dietary supervisor to plan and execute meal services, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
* Serve breakfast and lunch to staff members, ensuring a positive dining experience
* Ensure the kitchen is secured and closed in the evening and overnight
* Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary supervisor

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in a hospital kitchen setting preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
* Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety protocols
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
* Availability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays

Compensation and Benefits
This is a non-benefited, PRN position, but we offer competitive pay rates based on experience. The estimated hourly rate for this position is $18-$22 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.
