Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Laboratory to lead our Clinical Laboratory team at K.A. Recruiting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the personnel in Clinical Laboratory services, ensuring high-quality results and efficient operations.
  • Oversee the performance of chemical, microscopic, blood bank, and bacteriologic tests to obtain accurate data for diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
  • Formulate and manage the laboratory budget, ensuring cost containment and effective resource allocation.
  • Maintain effective relationships with physicians and other departments, promoting collaboration and communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance laboratory services.

Requirements:

  • College degree in a relevant field, such as Medical Technology or a related field.
  • ASCP certification and prior laboratory experience, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.
