About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech & Language Pathologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical rehabilitation and experience working with patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on speech and language techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Connecticut.
  • Membership in American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
