About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development of our server hardware systems. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering organization, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development of our hardware products, from proof of concept to successful ingestion into our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Lead technical program management of our servers platform(s) in a matrix organization, covering areas such as Data Center, Network, Hardware Systems, Software Engineering, and Capacity Management.
  • Program Success: Own overall program success, spanning the development of the hardware product, including the server, modules, chassis, and subsystems.
  • Program Development: Develop and manage the overall program, including defining scope, requirements, development model, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Influence broader roadmaps through product interception and market fit, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Hands-on Management: Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management on programs.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements across multiple functional areas.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and drive strategic vendor engagements and deliveries.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Systems engineering, Hardware engineering, or a related technical discipline, and 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Product Management or Engineering Management.
  • Skills: Knowledge of server systems, CPUs, GPUs, Memory, ASICs, and experience delivering hardware programs or products from inception to delivery.
  • Soft Skills: Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience, analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems, and experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hardware Project Management: Experience in hardware project life cycle management.
  • Data Center Architecture: Experience with data center architecture and deployment.
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with ODMs and other vendors.
  • Start-up Environment: Experience working in a start-up environment and technical infrastructure management.
