Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist - Die Maker to join our team at NSC Staffing. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in tool making and die manufacturing to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • This position involves maintaining and creating tooling to match part drawings, adhering to quality and production standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with blueprints, measuring devices, and equipment to make or modify existing tooling.
  • A strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills is desired, as well as the ability to weld and use acetylene torches.
  • Bridgeport, Grinder, and Lathe Experience is also highly valued.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working on the bench as a Die Maker or equivalent experience.
  • Journeyman card is preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with some college courses or technical school training.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Working Environment:

  • The work environment is typically loud and requires regular work near moving mechanical parts.
  • A safety-focused mindset and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Additional Information:

  • The shift schedule includes both 1st and 2nd rotations (6AM-3PM and 3PM-12AM).
  • A strong problem-solving approach and ability to work independently are required.
