Role Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients under the supervision of cardiovascular specialists and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient triage and assessments.
- Support physicians in delivering patient care.
- Accurately document patient records and information.
- Manage incoming calls and perform laboratory tests.
- Provide explanations of diagnostic procedures to patients and assist with related administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred but not required.
