We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Systems Engineer Intern to join our team at NextEra Energy Resources. As a key member of our exploration and production team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis of production data and perform type curve and forecasting analyses.
  • Conduct performance look backs compared to plan and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Spotfire and Combo Curve.
  • Work closely with senior-level engineers to develop and implement solutions.
  • Assist the Acquisition team in evaluating deals and identifying opportunities.
Requirements
  • Junior or Senior level BS candidate in any engineering discipline with an emphasis on petroleum systems.
  • Spotfire and/or Python recommended but not required.
  • Must have Excel experience.
  • Active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
