This role is situated within a warehouse and manufacturing setting, focusing on the upkeep and repair of facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting regular maintenance tasks throughout the premises, including structural repairs such as windows, doors, and walls.
  • Addressing plumbing issues to prevent water damage and ensure the functionality of water fixtures.
  • Repairing electrical wiring to resolve shortages or severed connections.
  • Maintaining HVAC systems to ensure effective climate control within the facility.
  • Implementing preventative measures to mitigate future maintenance issues, such as applying sealants on roofs.
  • Identifying and rectifying potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Refreshing the building's appearance by repainting areas where the paint has deteriorated.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a handyman, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Competent in basic mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
Compensation

Competitive pay rate of up to $20 per hour.

Work Schedule

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM.
