Position Overview- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Employment Type: Travel
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Duration: 14 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active KS / Compact RN license.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
- Proficient in handling chest tubes, post-operative heart patients, Bi-PAPs, TAVRs, temporary pacemakers, insulin drips, Cardene drips, and acute stroke management.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
Additional Information:
- Facility is nicotine-free.
- 300-bed acute care hospital.
- Floating to ICU and other inpatient units may be required based on experience.
