Job Requirements:
- Provide emergency medical care as a paramedic for a flight EMS service.
- Transport patients in rural areas via fixed-wing aircraft, with the possibility of rotor travel.
- Serve 15 communities within a 20 to 45-minute flight radius.
- Facilitate medical transport to urban healthcare facilities for advanced care.
- Navigate through varied terrain using small ATVs, snow machines, and other off-road vehicles.
- Work in extreme weather conditions.
- Deliver proficient emergency airway management and trauma care.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient care.
Additional Requirements:
- Covid and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions.
- Proof of vaccination must include vaccine type, lot number, expiration date, date and site administered, and the full name of the employee.
- Suitable lab titers can be submitted as an alternative if not older than 10 years.
Job Description:
As a paramedic for flight EMS, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in rural areas via fixed-wing aircraft. You will serve 15 communities within a 20 to 45-minute flight radius and facilitate medical transport to urban healthcare facilities for advanced care.
