Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Advatix, Inc. as a key member of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate power-operated equipment, such as forklifts, to move and store materials in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, utilizing a forklift as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including project time-tracking and inventory management.
  • Restock items not needed in the short term, adhering to established procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating freight pickups and deliveries.
  • Label and prepare items for shipment, and load and unload trucks as required.
  • Update the Warehouse Management system with transactions and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform daily safety checks and standard battery charging procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads regarding issues or concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or three years of relevant warehouse experience.
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
  • Current forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 30 days is mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb ladders as needed.
