Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our Electroneurodiagnostics Department at Overlook Medical Center. This is a full-time position with varying shifts, including rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient history and use it to guide testing performance
  • Explain procedures to patients and demonstrate respect for their needs
  • Follow patient safety guidelines and ensure a safe environment
  • Perform EEGs, including routine, ambulatory, and sleep-deprived tests
  • Work independently and make decisions regarding data collection
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program and completion of a clinical internship
  • Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification
  • 2+ years of clinical experience and 2+ years of Electroneurodiagnostic technology experience preferred
