Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Acute Care Physical Therapist to deliver top-notch rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from acute medical conditions and improve their functional mobility. Your dedication to patient-centered care will make a meaningful impact on our patients’ recovery journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients in a hospital setting who are recovering from acute medical conditions, surgeries, or injuries.
  • Assess patients’ physical abilities, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, and assist with discharge planning.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, functional abilities, and mobility limitations upon admission to the acute care setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ rehabilitation goals and needs, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and functional training.
Requirements:
  • RN license in State of Assignment or compact license.
  • 2 years of experience as a traveler; 3 years with no travel.
  • Must live 100 miles from Facility.
  • Covid Vaccine.
  • Flu Vaccine.
