Cardiology Physician Opportunity

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiology physician to join a well-established practice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania.
The selected candidate will join a group of six award-winning physicians and provide office-based clinical care as well as inpatient consultative services. Our cardiac services provide a full range of care, including TTE, 3D TEE, stress echo, vascular imaging, nuclear imaging, interventional cardiology, CT surgery, electrophysiology, heart failure clinic, cardiac CTA, and cardiac MRI. Night and weekend call are shared equitably.
Services and Opportunities- Electrophysiology Program: Growing EP program to include diagnostic and interventional EP, Afib ablation, LAA closure procedures, device implants (permanent pacemakers, defibrillator-including subcutaneous, loop monitors, leadless pacemakers)
- Heart Failure Clinic: On-site heart failure clinic with access to cutting-edge treatments
- Cardiogenic Shock Care: Coordinated Cardiogenic Shock care with advanced mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, Tandem, ECMO-V-A and V-V)
- Pert Team and Services: PERT Team and services (offering catheter-directed thrombolysis, mechanical and thrombectomy)
- Peripheral Arterial Disease Interventions: High-level, complex endovascular peripheral arterial disease interventions for critical limb ischemia/limb salvage
- Venous Disease Consultations and Treatments: Comprehensive venous (superficial and deep) disease consultations and treatments
- STEMI Programs: 24-hour STEMI programs service all hospitalists
- Community Teaching Hospital: Community Teaching Hospital with large internal medicine residency program and clinical educational conferences coordinated with University of Pennsylvania cardiology program
- Regional Tertiary Care Centers: Coordinated clinical programs with exceptional regional tertiary care centers
- Clinical Education and Research: High-level clinical education CME-conferences internally and externally coordinated with University of Pennsylvania cardiology program with external speakers on variety of topics
- National Cardiovascular Data Registries: Participant in National Cardiovascular Data Registries (NCDR); STS, Cath-PCI, ICD, Action, and Heart Failure-GWTG
