UNC Rex Hospital is seeking a full-time Board Certified OB Hospitalist to join our team. As an OB Hospitalist, you will work collaboratively with local obstetricians to handle inpatient OB emergencies.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluation and emergency management of patients in the OB-ED and L&D
- Attending deliveries and assisting in the care of patients of community OBs
- Assisting in surgical procedures, inpatient gynecological consults, and gynecologic emergencies
No outpatient care requirements.
Requirements include:
- NC State License preferred
- MD/DO Board Certified
- Prefer Experience
- Consults and counsels patients and families
- Adheres to the principles of medical ethics
