About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our dynamic team at Memorial Hermann. As an integral member of our Congenital Pediatric Echo Lab, you will utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital heart disease. Your expertise will contribute significantly to ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital heart disease using state-of-the-art ultrasound technology
  • Analyze medical records to obtain patient history and necessary information for diagnostic procedures
  • Prepare detailed reports for cardiologists, including comparisons of previous studies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Maintain equipment quality assurance, routine cleaning, and preventive maintenance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology
  • Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support
  • One of the following certifications: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Salary and Benefits
